Good Morning, Angel!

In the air an awesome smell

of flowers, bathed in liquid sun.

The wind carries the summer's sound,

another day has just begun!

Blossoms on the cherry tree,

a bird sings of a love that's true.

Rainbow pieces everywhere,

glancing in the morning dew.

The clouds, whipped cream on deep blue sky,

birds fly along like chocolate chips.

My naked feet touch moisty grass,

the taste of you still on my lips.

You lay sleeping near the lake,

you shine so bright from deep within.

The angel I was longing for,

you lost your wings with last night's sin.
