I sit alone
in the dark
It's eleven forty three
My poetry muse
she comes to me

Sarah takes my hand
and whispers tenderly
" Cross " she says
" don't worry, let it be,
all will be well, you'll see "

" Your guardian angel
she waits for thee
She's sitting under
the mimosa tree "

So to the garden
I make my way
to hear what Naomi
has to say

She gently enfolds me
in her long soft wings
and in my ear
she sweetly sings

" Take these words
and give them away
Tell them all
they'll be free someday "
