Preparing for a date, in a Kincaid kind of way.

Pick out clothes; wash hair; wash face; put on make up; make sure everything matches; make sure to show some skin; don't show too much cleavage; wear the red shoes; go get the door; don't get the door on the first knock; smile; don't smile too wide; don't be a slut; put the flowers he bought you in a vase; he didn't buy me flowers; grab your purse before you leave; sit in the car without spreading your legs; make polite conversation; don't talk about the weather; don't talk about politics, sports, or religion; compliment the car; compliment the restaurant; order something expensive; don't order something too expensive; smile at the waiter; flirt with the waiter; don't be a slut; make him a little jealous; sip at your drink; cut your food into little bites; Don't Chew With Your Mouth Open; don't finish the whole meal; don't order dessert unless he does; offer to pay; offer to split; offer to tip; thank him for the lovely meal; don't forget to sway your hips; let him hold your hand; flash a little leg as you get in the car; don't forget you're looking for a husband; a husband will take care of you; a husband will protect you; a husband gives you validation; don't give up the goods on the first date; when he walks you to the door let him kiss you; after he kisses you hesitate for a minute to make him think you're thinking; invite him in; offer him coffee; offer him a tour; show him your bed; let one thing lead to another; don't over do it; don't let him take anything that's yours; I don't want to, I don't want to let one thing lead to another; you mean to say that after all you are really going to be the kind of woman who will be alone forever?
