The first thing that came to my mind when I opened my eyes was the fact that I was outdoors.  I didn’t know where I was, nor did I know how I had gotten there. All I knew was that I was surrounded by a forest full of nothing but trees. I couldn’t see anyone around me that could possibly explain how I had gotten there. From a distance, I heard loud whining. I couldn’t tell where the noise was coming from, but I had decided to get up anyways. I began walking towards an empty path. I couldn’t quite see what it leads to but I continued to walk anyways.

I heard another loud cry and began to walk through the path even faster. The faster I ran, the easier it became to hear the crying. The path had led to a fresh water river with a bridge that went across from it. The bridge looked as though it could be at least a century old. I began to hear the voice even clearer now. It sounded quite familiar to me but I couldn’t exactly put a name on whose voice it was.

As I walked further, I saw a car that had fallen off the bridge and landed in the water. I couldn’t see anyone inside the car but I could still hear the noises. I came out from behind the giant oak I was hiding behind and I saw three people surrounding someone. They were sobbing obnoxiously around whatever it was that was on the ground. I slowly walked towards the group of people and began to recognize their faces. My parents and my sister Allie were all standing above a body. I was puzzled to what they were doing there and why I wasn’t anywhere near them.

“Hello?” I said anxiously waving my arms. No one seemed to notice me so I began to walk closer. As I looked at their faces I could see that they were completely devastated. I don’t think I have ever seen my mother this upset before. I looked down at the body they had been crying around and it was mine. I didn’t understand why they were crying over my body when I was right there.

“Why are you all crying I’m right here?” I asked impatiently. Still no one answered me. “Mom can you hear me? HELLO!” But still, there was no answer. Okay, so they obviously couldn’t hear me, but why?
