I take away the pride and see
The emptiness inside of me
All the time i want to breath
Because my soul, it wants to leave
I can't fight my mind inside
I want to live. I want to die
As I peak through the open door
My soul screams, for so much more.

Why does everything have to be like (this)?

How much more, do I have to take
Before you see, the end of my fate
Where will you go, when you find
The which once was my mind.
My memories have faded
Into something degraded
When you ignore me, you always think about me
And although I have you...

I must travel in my own way

Why do I have to be like (this)?

Is my time over? Am I all alone?
Because I am sick, sick to the bone
Extend my emotions to a point which burns
As my head begins to churn
The chemicals make time stop
As I crawl my way to the top
I'm melting into this mess
Knowing less and less

I take this road in my own way

Why do you have to be like (this)?

When we shared these times together
It was peace, but now it's over
Why can't I see the light
That was once shinning so bright?
I look out into the sea
About the horizon imagination is free
I won't feel the wind in my hair
Because all I know is in despair

We take this road in our own way

We take this road
You take this road
I take this road
Who will take this road?
