Stronger Than Yesterday

this poem is about a friend of mine who recently went through this

Half past midnight
And she can’t sleep
With tear stained eyes
She wishes things were different
She never meant to go that far
Never meant to give her heart away
So easily, so easily
He had her in the palm of his hands
And she was wrapped up in his pretty words
He broke her
Broke her right to the core
And left her there
With all of the pieces

She didn’t know where to go from here,
But she knew it was time
To let go
Through it all,
She learned to be strong, stand on her on,
And finally walk away

wow. So short, and yet, so good and full of meaning. it was amazing. Good job to you, and tell your friend she's amazing for being so strong. I know what it feels like to wish things were different, that they were better. Well done, to both of you. :)
