Born to be creative
Or so I thought
The average person
May say I am not
Born for logic-
I believed it was possible
But all around
My friends and teachers deny it
What was I born for?
Who am I?
Stuck in between
A Jill of all trades
Sure I write poems
Express my true thoughts
But structure is key
Deviation is not
I’ve always wondered
How they do it-
The creative minds,
Adored throughout history
How do they flow
With such beautiful words?
Elegant and sporadic
Are concepts foreign to me
What’s wrong with trying?
I want to sample
Two days inside
A creative mind
No bounds, no walls,
Or windows to hold me
Deviation the purpose
Logic flying away
No goal in my mind
A heart filled with freedom
I have discovered
Much more than a sample
