MONITORS: A BOOK REVEIW
Monitors is a science fiction book that could be from today... if you didn't look closely. Katcher is an outstanding author that leaves cliffhangers on the ends of paragraphs, on one particular occasion (chapter 8) I was checking on to booksie every spare minute! It would be hard to imagine the collective sigh of many people as they finally got the thing that they had been wanting since chapter 8 came out.
Katchers plot is simple and beautifully paced. Showing the complex ins and outs of a living genius, and the truth of the death that has made it so Lucy doesnt have trouble, until her college years. I remember it was the first book I had actually read since coming on this site. Monitors is the book with the grappling hooks that teachers are always encouraging you to write.
I would reccomend this book to any person who is looking for a thrill ride in reality. Monitors is amazing!
A note about the author: Curlyfrenchfries is the author of poems and a short story. She is currently working on a novel, The Misadventures of the World. She enjoys Harry Potter and swimming.
