Being blind is not the norm for most people. It is for me.
I became blind at the age of 2. I had Retina Blastoma Bilateral, (cancer in the seeing part of the eye in both eyes). My eyes were removed so that the cancer in the retina (the part of the eye that collects the light so you can see), didn’t spread to the optic nerve and then to the brain.
If you have any questions relating to me being blind, do ask them and I will do my best to answer.
Please note that some things are difficult to explain, but I will try my best.
So now… over to you.
