One day I was a believer
But I lost my dream on the way
I once fight but now I feel old
I was a warrior but I was too young
I wish I could have a “we’ll always have each other” to go back to
‘Cause I’m sick of being alone

There’s no angel by my side
And no kind words reach my mind
There’s nothing but silence
A silence full of screams
And I have no place to go
And I don't know where I’ve been

Safe is a strange word
Of which meaning I’ve no clue
And the road beneath my feet
Got no end for me to see

Stuck in a surreal dusk
Blinded by dust
My hopes and desires
Vanish in night fires
And as I watch the flames
My heart rest in their ashes
