June and July
Came and went
Through sunny days
And early dawns
Now, August starring nights are ending
As summer slips away behind the hills

Sunset kisses and twilight embraces
Can’t hold us together for all our lives
Seize the moment in your heart
Keep me on your mind for a little while

Lay on your backs above the fresh grass
Blow a dandelion into the sky
And watch life fly

Feel the breeze playing with your hair
Hug your skin and touch your lips
Let the night encounter the day
With your eyes on the welkin above

Dream awake in my arms
With the sound of the moon rising on heaven
See the moonlight in our eyes
And the fire flies dance in the sky
