A Kite In Stormy Winds

Poem by: Cyber Dood
Like many before me, I have built a wall.
One created as a result of rumours, lies,
remarks, hurled my way by adversaries
bent on my destruction.
While it stands, I cannot trust you, my
enemies are many and not always seen.
Their words cut like sharpened blades.
I have no artillery
I have no troops
I have only confusion and the armour
of one ill-prepared for such a fight.
A fight I did not ask for.
My enemies have assembled together
to cause me harm. I can no longer
tell friend from foe.
Those I know have sided with these
Cyber-space rumor-mongers
to protect their own fragile reputations,
leaving me to fend for myself.
Now, like a kite in stormy winds I am alone,
struggling, my wall losing its pieces.
But worst of all, I've grown tired, defeated,
and hopeless.
Exposing me
leaving me open
and ready to crumble.

There are some malicious people in cyberspace. I don't know what motivates them, I just want to make sure they stay off my FB page.
Very thoughtful piece of poetry.
This is indeed a serious issue, young minds so fragile to the constant and often sophisticated stalking of cyber bullies.
Thanks for sharing!
"My enemies are many and not always seen." very wise words, how old are you? your writings lead me to believe you are young, but only in age and your knowledege probably exceeds your years. even so You cease to amaze me Cyber Dood.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I won't tell you how old I am, but lets just say it's a lot older than you. Haha I've also done a lot of writing for this site under two other names (check out the first words of my bio) but I'm still learning and will continue to. Thank you for reading.
This has become such a big problem and you addressed it quite well. I am very impressed with your writing style. :) Sherry
