All this time you where giving me choices;
while others gave me no choice;
I was slowly falling in love with you.
I didn't realize that
until now at this very moment.
Next time someone tells me
you walk so fast;
I'd tell them to shut up;
I'm slow.
After 6 years;
it's now that I realize
how much you've always cared for me.
Your patience is one
I never understood until now.
It doesn't make you arrogant.
It makes you mine
for realizing you where the only one for me,
and I'll always seek you out
of the many souls.
There where those who only saw me as an angel
but you saw more than there was.
You where the only one to see the bird in me;
always seeking freedom.
Angels come to stay ,
but I didn't come that way.
Angels have no choice,
but I wanted a choice.
My own foolish heart made me a prisoner
to my own world.
You where the one to set me free;
knowing I would always return.
Thank you for trusting me.
