you had your moments
coming out of the blue
punching atari in the face
kicking it
and jumping on its head like a spring
your red hat unmoving as you
reached up and touched the clouds
only to slide down the flag pole
into the dungeon
of the uprising monsters of gaming.
you tried to make it
to the other side of the room
but were hit by the horns
on the shell
game over
but you didn't accept the end there.
you still had the rotton one-up mushroom in your pocket
but you're not what you used to be
never aging but complexion changing.
continuousely striking the children,
leaving them mesmerised by strobe lights
and fire power
step down
and let another
have a turn.
