I was told, “Get the smallest place

In the most expensive neighborhood.”

I saw the advantage in doing that

And decided, that was good.

Then they said, “Be on level ground,

You want nothing built on a slope!”

So I took that, too, as Gospel words,

This added to my faith and hope.

Then they said, “For safety’s sake

Find a Gated Community."

That sounded right, in all respects,

A gated place was the place for me.

So I tried my hand at many professions

While saving my Nickels and my Dimes.

And I took advantage of financial thought

At opportunistic times.

Stocks, bonds, and derivatives

Seemed to be the place for me,

The thrill of the hunt, and to be blunt,

I could do business --- in obscurity.

I did get a place to call my own

And it's everything, that it should be.

But I’m not happy, it's still too small,

This cell --- in the Penitentiary.
