Find pardons for them in dim lit halls

In the marbled walkway of polished stone.

Find pardon for them, but not for the Just

That sits in cages, all alone.

Gluttony comes by way of want

And want comes by way of greed;

You reaped the harvest before you plant

Oh son, of the son, of Satan's seed.

The great beguiler, beguiles again,

Spewing out hate on the warmongers soul.

In all those war-rooms, throughout the ages,

The victors have come and the victors will go.

What were their names? I can't remember.

What did they do? I do not know.

Do you give a shit? Not For Some!

Should history remember? For the Just-full soul.

Now, you hold on! What's that you say?

Isn't War Mankind's and nature’s way?

The strong survive, the weak are lost,

Sometimes, it's true, at a horrific cost.

Yes, you’re right, it's ingrained in us

But you missed the point that I wished to show;

In all those war-rooms, throughout the ages,

The victors have come and the victors will go.

It's not about fame and fleeting glory

Or those that carry the biggest Sticks;

It's about remembering the Justified Warrior

And to remember, to forget, those other pricks.
