Can a man really be the leader over his household, and take his rightful place?
Can he be trusted to protect his family, love his wife, while in God’s Grace?
When God created mankind, He appointed man to have dominion over the earth.
God made man first.
Man is to first, love God, for He is his creator.
Man is also to love his wife, she is his helper.
Man is supposed to be a protector, (one who is a guardian) a provider, (one who supplies a need, a servant) man is supposed to assume the position of leadership, (to lead his family, who’ll willingly follow him through the vision that God has given him)
When God created Adam, Adam was a good leader among the animals.
Adam failed as a leader, when all he had to lead was one woman.
Adam stood near Eve, when he heard the serpent lie to her, and both ate the fruit.
All he had to say was, “No” to the serpent, and take Eve by the hand and walk away. He could have reminded Eve, “God said for us not to eat off the tree of good and evil.” If he had done that, he would have assumed the position of
being a protector, and a leader. But, instead, Adam showed who the real leader was. This is why some women now, are so domineering; it’s because men gave up their position for a piece of fruit.
