The sun was on the edge of the sky,
Sunrays had gone dim as the heaven became gloomy,
Society was as quiet as still waters.
It was a colossal shift in daylight veracity;
Kids were under a tree measuring their height.
As I gazed from a far sight, I saw shadows shifting,
As I gazed again, I saw my folks on top of a barrel;
I was dazzled by flamboyant day of bliss,
It was a vivid dream that drove them to a turret!
A full moon in the midst of their day,
I thought it was disaster,
I thought it was ascension,
I thought it was retreat;
Overwhelmed with joy, I eventually fainted!
It was unique delight after centuries of sightlessness;
It was as though I came from a deep snooze,
I felt released as I saw shadows kept shifting!
