She had of her heads,
One of those head busting
Kind, and closing her eyes,

She thought back on just how
Far she'd come since baby
Had died, how far she'd got

Herself back into a
Routine, felt part of the
Mad circus of life that

Surrounded her, but at
Moments like this, sitting
On a stool with a chilled

Bottle of coke against
Her head, she knew that deep
Down nothing had changed, she

Still felt the emptiness,
Still sensed the hollow place
Where baby had been, could

Still picture the tragic
Scene, the baby dead in
Her arms, the pale forehead,

The dull lifeless eyes, and
Biting teeth of grief
Was still there, gnawing at

The core of her being.
She sipped the coke, opened
Her eyes gazed at the floor,

She knew she grieved a whole
Lot deeper, not little,
But sadly a lot more.
