I stare at the ceiling and the pictures on my wall

I see me smiling in them all

Back then I was so happy and full of joy

Now I’m so angry and so annoyed

You played me from right and left

And you took my heart with you like some kind of theft

But at the time I didn’t mind because it was you who I thought I loved.

The memories that we shared like when we looked up at the stars above

Late night calls and lovey dovey texts.

We stayed stuck in the moment, not knowing what’s coming next

But now I see what happened

This happened

We fell apart and for a minute so did my heart

I hope you didn’t think I was crushed because of what you did to me

I remember that one time when we went to the movies

Where did our love go?

Mm, I’m guessing out the door

You lost respect for me and treated me like somebody that you used to know

I must’ve been really stupid to think I loved you

But hey, we was moving too fast

You and I both know that

However I just needed some closure

I was always in it, but it’s over
