It’s Just A Scratch

Please stop yelling,

there’s no need to be alarmed.

A hundred times I must keep telling,

There’s barely any damage and it’s not really harmed.

There’s no need to wallow,

in your own despair,

So listen to me and just follow,

because the damage can be repaired.

It’s just a little scratch,

That you have on your car.

I ask that in your heart’s chamber you unbolt your latch,

And release your constricted compassion so that you can go far.

You can fix the damage on a car’s damage any day,

But it may take forever to repair the person’s feelings you damage.
