Can’t stop thinking about that summer.

We were so young.

You put the beauty into my world.

I can still see the boy riding his bike down the sidewalk

With his cute little hat,

And that silly smile that I loved.

Walking through that building

The memories flow back to my mind.

Life was hard then too

But we found a way to escape

To a simple world that was just ours.

Losing that boy was one of the most painful things,

But the pain,

Somewhat,

Escapes my memory...

Maybe because it was SO hard that

To remember would be too much.

Now that I have him back I couldn’t be happier...

That is unless he would be mine forever...

Things are so much deeper,

But life seems to be harder

In different ways

I wish I could be all he ever wanted,

And all he ever needed...

I just wish we could truly be together.
