She’d finally found out where he’d been those months. He’d been in juvy; sent there again by those wretched people he called parents. the bell rang and she lost her breath as she watched him walk through the door on the other side of the glass. The orange suit he wore, possibly being the ugliest thing she’d ever laid eyes on, torn, dirty, and disgusting lay around his body. She put her hand to the glass as she started to cry he lifted the phone to his face as he placed his hand to hers. “Hey, beautiful.” he said and she cried harder. “It’s been so long.” she replied. “I wish I’d known about this sooner. You’ve been in here so long. Are you okay? When will you get out? I’ll come as often as I can. I...I love you. Tell me everything’s going to be ok.” “I love you too sweetie,” He started. “I don’t know what’s going to happen the next little while but the second I get out of here I’m gonna find you and we’ll get married so I can really take care of you.” She smiled slightly through her tears and said, “In California?” “Yes. That’s what I’d like.” She smiled a little bigger. “Don’t worry about me so much.” He said. “I’ll be fine in here for a while, as long as I know you’re ok out there. I know you’re unhappy but soon enough we’ll be together just you wait.”
