The wolf walked through the forest. The rain softened and made slippery the ground below. The crackling of the earth and wood breaking beneath his feet was all that could be heard in the empty distance. And only through the towering trees with the sight of stars and the shadows of the moon on the leaves could he know in some way where he was. It had been a long and hard fought trip. He felt married to the land but unwanted. The wind had started to blow as he walked further but he fought hard against it. It was only the pride of his ego that burnt violently against his doubt. His journey was unclear. His destiny was without a compass. But yet still, he still felt compelled.

Days and nights past and his sense of reality had begun to waver.  The familiar sights was starting to become unfamiliar and as his mind and body was
