It’s hard to live in a world so cruel. I have been blinded from the reality of this saddening world. I have only began to realize what a horrible place we live in. In this world where we live, birds scream, trees moan, and the skies are dark. I can’t understand how someone could even think of those fairytales, those happy endings in this doomed world.  The earth has been shattered into millions of pieces. We try so hard to glue our world back together, but the glue does not dry quick enough. The world we live in is not blue, green, or pink, but a solid black. Black, a hopeless color indeed. Our efforts are the colors of the rainbow, red, orange, and yellow. No matter how much we try to fix the world, the color will still stay black. But there is always a white. A white that can turn the black into a simple gray. Even if we can’t change the world, there will be hope. Did God make this black world a test for us? I wonder. What if this world was white? Would everything be solved? What if God had a reason for this? Then it hit me. In this dark world, we can’t see God’s doors he left open for us, we just have to trust him and let him guide us to them. What would we learn if the world was white and bright and the doors were left open in clear sight? We would just forget our lord and walk through the doors, not knowing that this is what would lead us to doom. This dark world, this cruel world, has a reason.
