The Body

He stood there with his coolness

taking over the entire room.

I laid there in my bed just looking at him,

his well-sculpted pecks raised and fall.

In the rhythm of his breathing,

is comforting no matter

how worked up you are.

After the eyes taken the glory of his pecks

to his six pack abs.

They are a piece of art.

His body was a work of art

that no one could ever corrupt,

not even time or age could cause

any damage to his body.

A Greek God would have to bow

down to him. People stop and stand

at attention when he walks by.

Why do some people have

such amazing bodies

and others are not given what they are.

It is unfair.

Why can’t I have his body?
