Another morning, another day of living with the world’s most disgusting roommate that ever did live.  His two-week-old dirty clothes stood in perfectly still mountains on the bathroom floor.  She hopped around them to get to the bathroom to find that the toilet paper roll was empty again.  “Kent, did you buy any toilet paper like you were suppose to at the store?” “No.” Kent said from the other side of the door.  She was sick and tired of this happening so often.  “It has been your turn to buy the toilet paper the last four times.  And you still haven’t picked your laundry up and you haven’t even clean the bathroom this week!” She said, while she watched the water ran down the drain carrying with it the few lose whiskers down with it.  The rest where stuck with his blue toothpaste speckling the bowl with brown covered blue islands.

This was the beginning of every day at her apartment.  This week was Kent’s week to clean up the apartment.  It was Friday and there wasn’t a single clean dish in the place.  It also looked like a tornado went through the living room for the last four days of parties he had going on.  There where now stakes of left over nacho on plates that where set on top of plates that had been there three days prior on the coffee table.

Cindy had hit her breaking point today and she knew she had to get into the safe haven of her clean room before she would explode and add more the mess that she called her home.  As she shut the door she took a deep breath and told herself to calm down it was going to be alright.  She picked up her textbook procedd to the bed when there was a knock on the door.

“I am going be heading out I wont see you until tomorrow. Bye.” Kent gently said through the door.  Her face flushed scarlet as her textbook made a loud thud as it slipped out of her hand and hit the floor.  “What?  No, you have to clean the place.  You haven’t done anything all this week.  Hell, sense I moved in two months ago. Plus, I have four friends coming over to hang out tonight.” She retorted through the door.  “Well, I am sorry I have to go see my kid brother’s game and hang out with high school buddies sense I will be at home. Toddles.” Kent said.  Then Cindy heard the screen door hit the wooden door frame which was followed by the outside door squeaking shut.

She collapsed on her bed in a heap.  I can’t do this! I can’t do this! she kept telling herself.  She laid there feeling like every once of energy had been sucked from her cells.  Now what?  What am I going to do?  She heaved herself into the upright position and made her way to the common area to proceed to clean up the place.  As she was cleaning she found Kent’s book of passwords for his online account, banking, e-mail, etc.  and it also had his hints and tips for his playstation 3 games.  Kent always boost to his friends how he can kick their asses without trying. Cindy knew his secret was in the book.

Like Lighting stricking a tree in a middle of storm, Cindy got the idea of hiding the book from Kent.  This would mean he would be locked out of all his accounts and would lose at his tournaments with his friends on the playstation.  She walked straight over to the toaster and slide it into the first slot.  The toaster had never been used once.  It was more or less used for decoration to make it look like they made toast for breakfast.  Kent would never find it there.  He did not even cook; rather, he bought food and brings it into the apartment.  He would only step foot into the kitchen to grab plates, silverware, cups, ice, or a beer.  It was safe in the toaster.  The sun was setting but she knew that the same old thing was going to happen tomorrow but this time she wear a smile of satisfaction. She open the door to let Kim, Ashley, and Sam into the apartment.
