The lands of the March have been at war for so long that it has become almost a way of life. But three events are about to occur which will change the fortunes of the land forever; the clansmen in the hills to the south encounter a new threat from the deserts at the edge of the world, and must be prepared to risk all to avoid destruction. A Pyromancer seeks refuge under the auspices of the Dragon King, but mastering her powers and keeping her relationship with her servant a secret prove a risky challenge in her new home. Finally, a great and ancient force is growing once more, deep in the mountains, and may yet pose enough of a threat to put all of the March at risk.
