December 15th the day we met, A long and loving future destined to be set,

My cheeky smile and your red dress attracted us to each other,

The next step a phone call to hear the voices of one another,

With each message sent the excitement within me grew,

Thoughts began to emerge of how to spend a perfect day with you,

Dinner, dessert, and gifts would soon come to pass,

The 28th, our first date, my Christmas day was here at last,

Bromley the place where we shall first meet, I booked a table at Ferrari's to wine, dine and treat,

Anticipation of your arrival made my stomach twist with nerves,

What could I do? What would I say? To give us a day we deserved,

I walked up the high street in search of a smiling face,

The crowd dispersed and there you were, a picture of beauty elegance and grace,

Side by side lost in conversation we strolled to share a drink,

Wetherspoons I learn't you were my missing link,

Once getting to know each other we rushed to the reservation,

Menu in hand we stared across and love surfaced without hesitation,

The waiter took our order of drinks, garlic bread and pizza,

I then handed you a present which developed a loving theme between us,

Clean plates and empty glasses our first date was almost over,

Had I made a good impression? One could only wonder,

I walked you to the entrance outside the glades,

We said our goodbyes and smiled at our first memory made,

A short while later, "thank you for my lovely present xxx" was the text received,

"You're very much welcome :) xxx" I replied, our future happiness guaranteed,

Not a single day has passed where we have failed to talk,

Every day becoming closer with each word that has been spoke,

I wish you the very best in life!! My gorgeous Lindsey babe,

Without you I could not be the man I am today x
