This fortress will eventually lock me in itself, Lockdown for eternity. The cell door doesn't open anymore. Just locks, closes. I've said it before, There's no justice on earth. Through rusty steel bars, Handcuffs bind me to the wall. Slow death waits for his cue, Lurking in the shadows, Observing his latest victim... I live my death sentence, Between these four walls. The outside world will slowly forget about me. I live my death sentence, Between these four walls. Watching you through the bars. Refr: A song calling, In the voice of sirens. The lights flashing Blue, red, blue, red. When the night falls, When the guard isn't watching, I'll dig myself out of here, Goodbye. I live my death sentence, In this cage. You're waiting for me outside. My life's short, Even I deserve that much. A heart's calling tonight, One unlike the others, Warm and safe. A place to call home. But I'm living my death sentence, the outside world is slowly forgetting me. The sirens screaming their songs of pain, The blue light keeps fighting the red, flashing through my dark cell. I'm living my death sentence, here alone, between these walls. I'm living my death sentence, Which is watching you through the rusty steel bars. © 2016 Danny.
