Deciding she won't let Bryan ruin her entire summer, which is suppose to be filled with wonderful memories of making new friends, getting to know her dad a little better, and even possibly a summer romance, she gets a job working a convenience shop a little ways out of town and gets just about everything she wanted for that summer, including meeting Elijah James, a fun-loving boy that seems to make Bryan's blood boil for whatever reason.
But as the summer goes on, Lindsey realizes a lot of things, including friendships, relationships, people, and even feelings can change over a summer.
