She is fallen,

She who walked the path of the sun,

She who danced across history

She who wrote her name in the mind of the world.

She is fallen,

She who was more beautiful than any other,

She who was earth and alabaster and sapphire,

She who sent nations sprawling

with a glance.

She is fallen,

the woman in grey,

murderer or justicar,

demon or angel,

friend or foe.

She is fallen,

She who was loved

and is loved

and will be remembered for love.

She who was like a star,

giving life to all around her.

Yet one thing remains,

though she be gone from our world.

Can you guess, my friends?

What lives

is a memory.
