You are the darkest side of me

I would slit my own wrists just to watch You bleed

To walk a thousand steps in the shoes of a killer

Is the same as a foot in mine

I battle from within as you watch me struggle to stand

Cut this hate out from under my chest

Blood dripping downward in a murderous spiral

Pull away from the blade just to be pushed right back in

Fists sung upward in a vicious reflex

Stop watching

Start bleeding

A head on collision followed by a fresh cut

I take command as this cut turns into a gash

Blood smeared across the walls

Blindsided by a cheap shot leaving me breathless

I drop to my knees

I gasp for air as you start to fade away

As this single breath sores through my lungs

I see your face in the distance

A smile, followed by the look of agony

A grin, followed by the look of disgust

After a few more moments I rise to my feet

Overcome with the desire to kill

I reach for the freshly sharpened blade laying beneath the dirt

You come towards me as if you knew my next move

Before you can react I take the blade and meticulously slice it across my throat

At a loss for words pieces of you fade away with every breath leaving my body

In a matter of seconds you are gone

Leaving me just how I wanted you

Thoughtless, breathless
