This is a poem of a girl who lost her best friend and her mother at the same time. This is about a girl who lost her mom yet looks at the shell of her everyday. Sometimes it's harder to lose someone you still see everyday then to lose someone and never see them again.

A girl who cried to mom now cries alone

Mother's heart has turned to stone

She feels no warm embrace

But is only left with a bitter taste

A parasite has drained this happy home

Now a lifeless prison dome

It has replaced all Mother's love

Now this girl cries to above

She begs to be seen once more

But has been left cold to the core

This parasite has filled her family with hate

And now she fears it is too late

Who has Mother become?

A faceless being to some

She's lost all care

All thats left is an empty stare

Her mother may as well be in the grave

It's better than seeing her as a slave

Death is hard for some

But even harder when it's yet to come...
