A short poem. Read and find out.

Fly Free with Me…

Tendrils of Sorrow taint your Soul,

Numbing, freezing in such Cold.

What is left but to despair?

For the Light of Day I see not where.

Chained in a prison never to be found,

To fearful, lifeless to make a sound.

You raise your eyes to Heaven and See

A soaring eagle, Flying Free with Me…

You the Dark, He the Light,

Only he can restore your Inner Sight.

Arms outstretched, you finally meet,

Two Halves Unite, Two Halves Complete.

Black and White are shades of Gray,

Who can say what comes our way?

Fly Free with Me and Dream a Dream,

Open your eyes to see the Beam.

A stair of Stars for us to climb,

Who can say what we may find?

Fly Free with Me and Dream a Dream,

Utopian worlds without a seam.

Soar and Sing for Angels high,

Faraway where we can Fly.

Rise with Me, upon a Shining Star,

Above the Moonlit Sky, we’ve come so Far.

Fly Free with Me and we shall Find,

A path to Elysium this Time…

Fly Free with Me…

Good poem. Beautiful imagery. Nice pace and flow. The rhyming didn't seem forced so job well done. :)
