my first try at poetry writing. Hope you guys enjoy. Nothing to complex just a straight forward poem I wrote after watching an advertisement.

The day I die , will you remember me

not for the things I have done

not for the things I have succeeded in

not for the image I portray myself to be.

But, the person I hid away

kept in locked away

covered by lies , memories

and fake memories.

The picture you now look at

trapped in this lies all my secrets

the next time you look

see the cracks that lie on the surface.

Hm. Interesting poem-were you watching a campaign ad? I like it!It seems like people only remember the bad things you've done- and the good things people do have to be so significant for anyone to ever remember it. Don't you think so?
