Time to make the call,
Something you should’ve
Done before.
Time to make it rain
To wash away your
Every pain.
Need the pill to sleep
And you can’t agree
With feelings too deep
That even you can’t see.
Phone rings,
Hear it stop.
Thinking the voice
Is a trap.
A farce
A mistake
An error
Made inferior
By your endless
Demeanor
That wrecks your entire
Interior
Until all is left
Is your broken interior.
Make the call
Wake up.
Time to make it
All Stop.
End the pain
Of listening
To every ring.
Just say a word
And don’t hang up.
Realize you’re
Screwed up.
She’s waiting on the other side.
She doesn’t know it.
But it’s something she needs to let fly.
Unspoken words for years
Turns into rage from fears,
Giving way to endless tears,
Waiting for a painful end to near.

When you both know
Each other is dear.
Stop calling and dropping.
For it’s doing absolutely nothing.
But feed the hostility
With terminal velocity
And unspoken ferocity
That would destroy your identity.
Finish the circle
And come say a word.
Make for a time
When you can draw the line
And take back unspoken words
That should have been said.
And let those words
Travel into your head.
Make the time and listen
To the endless reason
To end this confusion.
Explain the word that’s unsaid.
So that you can trust again.
Time to show that it has been long
And that you know you were wrong.
Say the words you want to say
That you should have done it
Another way.
Define the sensation
From your infatuation
That stays with your conviction
To reason out your dedication
For her.
Feed her with the knowledge
That must close this wedge.
Inspire the untold tale
Of how much you failed.
In truly showing her how you feel.
That for this one moment
It’s you and her.
Nothing else.
No cover
No barrier
Just words.
