After being hurt once I thought I had found love once again. But alas it was a lie.

Are people who we think they are,
Everyday that passes we go so far,
We trust and love with all our heart,
Even though the miles keep us apart.

Our future seemed such a planned out affair,
Looking forward to our lives to share,
Lovely times ahead for us,
Caring for each other was a must.

Then one day my dreams did die.
All because of those dreadful lies,
Two years of my life I gave to you,
To somebody I thought was true.

Leaving me feeling such a fool,
I didn't deserve to be treated so cruel,
Now my days are blue and sad,
Knowing I shouldn't have been treated so bad.

I gave my love and trust,
My whole life I did adjust,
Giving my all life to you,
I thought it was the correct thing to do.

Now I know it was all a big lie,
On you I should never relied,
You made my life just one big joke,
Now everyday on my tears I choke.
