This I wrote when a little boy I had the pleasure of knowing died after suffering a brain tumour

He was a lovely little lad,
Sometimes good sometimes bad,
His hair was golden red,
Some of the kids called it ginger instead.

When he was 10yrs old,
An illness struck him that left everyone feeling cold,
The last year he has fought his best,
Putting his parents faith to the test.

Last week he gave up his fight,
Late late into the night,
This little lad could fight no more,
He has left to be with his Saviour.

His parents are so distraught,
As this deal was the worst they could have got,
My thought are with them at this time,
William is an Angel above that shines

For a Little boy whom I had the joy of meeting while teaching in school

I get so depressed when i learn kids dying at an early age of strange tumors and diseases and i could not bring myself to do a PG in a clinical field....

I opted to go for laboratory and escapism....

This is so sad....what would have happened to the parents....i cried lots
