Know now, its over, now and forever
The waiting and the hoping, I'm done with.
And closure is wonderful, finally.
The pain and weight one sided fools love.
Its far more intoxicating than gold,
but has a high price to pay in the end.
Its over though, and now it feels better.
It actually, feels good to be free,
of the love that wont be returned to me.
I can finally sleep at night knowing,
that my love will one day go to someone,
who actually wants it, and returns it.
In rejection, I did not shed a tear.
In rejection, I did not throw a punch.
In rejection, I did not beg at all.
In rejection, I did not scream or fall.
It turns out she may have not been my fate,
And she may not have been my destiny
I now look forward, and not behind me.
I have opened up possibilities,
I can indeed love someone another.
I fell down, and I have just gotten up.
I cant say ill never fall down again.
But I will 'never' fall this far again.
Never...
