Unleashing speed on the country roads is always a blast. Beer running down my chin as a laugh fit for a madman escapes my mouth. Mark, who was in the passenger seat, was cheering me on also had a beer in hand. Nothing was in sight except for cow pastors on each side and towering barn in the distance.
My foot has now reached the floor. The peaceful night in the farm land has now been interrupted by my cars warp speed. I took another gulp of beer. And threw the empty bottle to the road. I took a brief look at Mark. When my eyes meat the road again my grin snapped to a horrific expression.
A lady dressed in a night gown was walking in the center of the street. She had long black hair covering her face and she was holding a bundle of straw in her arms as if she were holding a baby. But that’s all I got to see before I slammed on the break.
It was too late my old beat up car slammed into her back causing her to throw the bundle into the air. Her body skid across the road leaving pieces of skin and blood smeared across the road. “Mark are you –” I froze in mid-sentence as I saw him leaning agents the dash bored  with his nose caving in and his forehead gushing blood. He could still be alive but the odds where agents it.
A whimper escaped my throat. I opened the car door and I felt a tear running down my cheek. I peered over to where the lady’s body landed. My heart dropped to the pit of my sumac as I noticed she was gone.
Bloody feet prince lead from the puddle of blood where she landed to where my feet are now planted! But She was nowhere in sight.
Sparring you all the gory details, about two minutes later I was laying on the road starring up at the florescent moon with one eye, one ear and one foot taken from me. She walked away limping with my limbs in her arms. I guess she needed something to hold scene the straw was now crammed down my throat…
