A A A | A A A

A journey is a wayward path to joy,

To a beauteous and chang’ed escape;

So to return and prove that we were there-

To find our absence has left not a trace.

Home is the only place you leave behind,

And should you not have known a home before

A journey’s not a path to take away

But head it only on a single course.

Travels of my own have left no roots

I rest only my head but not my heart,

But I have found a place to call my own:

In every place, wherever you may be.

The furthest I have ever felt from home

Is the time it takes from you to me.
