They tried to break me, but steel doesn't break.
They tried to bind me, but fighters can't be bound.
They tried to shut me, but truth can't be silenced.
They tried to beat me, but I can't be beaten.
They tried to kill me, but angels can't die.
They tried to drive me crazy, but I can't be driven.
They tried to make me cry, but I can only smile.
They tried to finish me, but I'm just starting.
- Dedicated to Criss Sole
Author's note to Criss: I didn't know you, but I felt in love with your story. You're stronger than you think and don't blame yourself, it's not your fault, I can assure you that. I wanna thank you a lot for sharing what happened, and I hope you see justice. You've made a great impact in my life and it makes me sad and mad that a part of you was stolen by that officer. I sincerely wish you the happiest of lives, because you deserved it after all you went through. I'm here if you need me, and you have a whole group of friends who would sure be more than happy to help you in anything, so I repeat, never feel by yourself.
This poem is my way of telling you to keep strong and be optimistic about the future, you never know.
