Drunken Ramblings, I wrote this whilst spending the entire night drinking with my best friend.

This fine feeling sends me reeling

I tell the sky a way around

and my twisted mind feels sound.

What is the way to spend this

a morning that I know I'll miss.

Take a swing at the sun, spinning blind

Fall into a feeling, numb. Bliss so kind.

Take a shot of that amber courage

Sway in the silver lining

Run to that unreal visage

Bear in mind what's darkly shining.

It's an empty glass, clearly broken, that catches my eye

Easy words so softly spoken, fearing pain brought on by rye.

Just laugh it off my friends, no need to pretend. Because with a couple more shots we'll feel no pain.
