How to know whether we are saved or were ever saved. Does God offer assurance of our salvation?

Is there assurance of salvation? My answer is: yes, as long as certain conditions are met.
We know there will be people that thought they were saved, but actually were not:
Jesus said: not all those who tell me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom, but only those who do the will of the Father. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'Mat 7:21-23
We know that there are people who think they are Christians but they are not:
REV 3:1 To the angel of the church in Sardis write: … you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
We know that some people believe in God, but bring NO fruit. (fruit of maturity in Christian life, Gal 5:22, 2 Pet 1:1-11) And that means their faith is dead. Because even demons believe in God, but that doesn’t save them.
JAM 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?
JAM 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
JAM 2:19-20 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that - and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
2TI 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.
JAM 2:22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
2PE 1:5-7 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. (in other words, grow in them, while believing in God)
James said: don’t just read the Word and so deceive yourself, DO what it says
(deceive into thinking that you are ok with God) Jam 1:22
MAT 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
I found many verses that show that God is able and WILL keep His child from falling. But before you can know whether YOU are that child, you need to meet a few conditions:
Condition 1: you must do whatever the verses above said
Because “only those who do the will of the Father will enter” Mat 7:21and
because “if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2PE 1:10 -11
Condition 2: God must delight in your way
Because “If the LORD delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with His hand”.PSA 37:23-24
Condition 3: you must be righteous (doesn’t mean sinless, just means you are desiring to please God in your life, like David or Abraham, to be a person after God’s own heart)
Because “He will never let the righteous fall”PSA 55:22
1JO 3:7-8 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil
So, remember, if you love God, really love Him and desire to please Him, you WILL BE saved. Even if you stumble, He will uphold you. He will let you do mistakes and learn from them. But He won’t let you completely fall.
JUD 1:24 To Him Who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy…
PRO 3:6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
1TH 5:23-24 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it.
PSA 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
2TI 1:14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you - guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
ROM 8:13-14 but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
2TH 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

Remember, God DOES work in us in order to bring us to salvation. He is ABLE to keep us from falling. He is able to enable us to do what He wants.
PHI 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.
HEB 13:21 and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ
1 Co 1:8 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Just hang on to Him and trust Him.
PSA 147:11 the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
PSA 25:3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame
We live in the enemy territory and the battle for our souls is fierce. The devil is walking around like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. 1PE 5:8  But God promises to His faithful ones:
Fear not, for I am with you Be not dismayed For I am Your God I will strengthen you Yes I will help you I will uphold you with My righteous right handIsaiah 40:10
2TI 4:18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom.
Remember, victory IS YOURS in Christ Jesus. If you love Him, if you cling to Him, HE WILL bring you safely through the troubled waters of trials and stumblings and the attacks of the evil one. In each trial you WILL overcome. Just hang on to Him. Even if you feel that you failed, don’t lose hope. He has a plan for you. He is working out everything according to His plan.
1PE 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
1TH 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
ROM 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
