Its is because of my mother that I am who I am in life... very proud of that.... I wanted people to know what she provided to me not only emotionally but spiritually as well... enjoy and hoping to touch the hearts of other mothers who have inspired their kids to the beauty of life and how to give it back.

I remember her love to keep my heart in place,
struggling more every day to envision her face.
The warm tender smile that brought me years of joy,
the man that now sits here she molded from a boy.
Lessons she taught me all through life's plan,
transformed me into a loving and decent man.
The words I now write to you may sound quite vain,
but she said "give your heart to others my son Duane".
These were not actual words that she said unto me,
rather her actions and demeanor is what I did see.
I am hoping I can continue to live my life through her,
the love of life, hope?and passion in others I can stir.
I believe I can continue her legacy and life long plan,
and share the love to all others be it woman or man.
Continuing to guide me though I lost her one November,
her and I sharing "A Walk I Will Always Remember".
