“Lip gloss”

I never thought this story
Was worthy to be told
But I guess let’s keep on moving,
And let it all unfold.

A story of a beginning,
And a story of an end
I give you my own story,
And let it all unbend.

It was a windy morning,
When I talked to you on the phone
You said you’ll never leave me,
And I will never be alone.

I asked you if you’ll ever leave,
And you said no, not ever
I believed in you and hoped,
That this could last forever

But where are your promises now?
You act like I’m a stranger
As if being close to me,
Would bring YOU so much danger

All your promises are gone
The connection between us was shattered.
It’s like you didn’t know me
And from all of it, nothing mattered.

So now you look so “GREAT”
Bcoz of the influences of your friends
You dress like you’re “MADONNA”
And follow all the trends.

You flirt as if boys are the measures,
For you to be a star
And it’s not that I’m avoiding you,
You’re just a little bit too far.

You’ve changed into “AMAZING”
But still you’re trying to be cool.
But in the eyes of someone like me,
You’re nothing but a fool.

You humiliate to your friends,
So I want to say goodbye
Coz it’s better to end this connection
Than make this ”RUN” a lie

There’s no spark in our friendship
I’ll give respect at least.
Ending this relationship,
That left my soul in feast

What happened to the lip gloss,
That I gave you near the shore?
And why I see the lip gloss
Isn’t even glossy anymore?
