The farmerliked hisfeild

He used to play about as a boy

He chasedthe grains around with the wind

But hedidn't want to harvest,he wascoy

A few years later he was ten

His curiosity was growing, expanding

His parents taught him how to collect the grains

Harvestingwas easy but upkeep would bedemanding

Now the boy had become a teen

He was ready to take on a challenge, to perservere

His parents taught him how to give the soil nutrients

This was tough, but he had it down by the next year

The farmer was now a young man

He enjoyed the farming tasks and the pay

He started to get water from the well, this was also fun

This was a verynice time,he would soon come up on May

The farmer was almost a fully grown man

Life waseasy until a wildfire, he was frusterated

His parents were now retired and he was there alone

May was now maturing, this time, things seemed ill-fated

The farmer then decided to do something

He wouldtryto nurture thecrops, make new ones grow

May proved to want these new crops to be healthy too

With the weather, he had new healthy crops to nurture and know

The farmer was now a man
