In a barren frozen wilderness

That is called your heart

I’m trapped inside nowhere to run

Being torn apart

I tried to live without you

Never made a sound

You clipped my wings and kept me down

Pinned me to the ground

You still have a hold on me

No matter where you are

I try to run to places new

Yet you’re never far

Tell me how do I let go

To get you out my head

For life will never be the same

Until this love is dead
