Embers scorch my skin
The touching flames of sun
Dancing to my heartbeat
A rhythm that’s re-run

Darkness hugs me tightly
Akin to once I came
The light torches my guileless soul
Unique eternal flame

Flickers of tomorrow
Erode the sordid past
Kaleidoscopic destiny
Implode my soul so fast

Dawn will come tomorrow
Where life falls into place
No wings to protect me
I shall not fall from grace

Gaze upon the sunrise
Remember what once was
No more doubts or sorrow
No more should or just because

For here it is the moment
A unique key
Unlock what always was
For all eternity
